I need these buttons. Like, 1000 of them. I have just finished writing a sustainability manual from a historic preservation perspective for Bayfield, WI, which is also an Eco-municipality....their Applefest, which is held the first weekend in Oct will be attended by thousands of people and I want to distribute these buttons far and wide that weekend...let me know how to get some - quickly.
hopes to put together a bunch of info on historic preservation and green building. Check it out and get involved, cos the Greenest Building is the One Already Built!

Now, we won't even try to take credit for the slogan... everyone in preservation is using it these days, but Carl Elefante gets the nod for putting it out there. So, thanks Carl!
You might also be asking some of the same questions we've been asking ourselves lately, like: "OK, how do we do it?! How do we make our old buildings green?" We hope to find some answers.
Our goal isn't to sell you on green preservation. Well, there will probably be a bit of that for the doubters, but we imagine most of you are like us and are already there. What we need to do is compile resources and strategies to help fellow travelers make a good case for green preservation.
